-Prologue-
The kingdom of Aestel is vast and grand, governed by the benevolent King Ran, who watches over his people like a father keeping watch over his children.
In service of the King are the Royal Knights, an army of men trained in combat and the Royal Wizards, who are trained to expel destructive magic on their foes. Although Aestel has been without war for years and years the threat is ever looming.
There is another country, known simply as the Dark that is home to Aestel’s only natural foe, the Witch Queen.
She would burn every kingdom, town, and village to ash so as to call the world her own. But her power is still limited, so although her strengths are beyond mortal she keeps her distance until her time to strike draws near.
The Witch Queen’s subjects known as Hell Spies take on the skins of mortals and venture into Aestel to gather information. Though they are beyond weak, if one is to slay a Hell Spy they’ll be cursed. And the only way to rid you of the curse is to kill the source, the Witch Queen herself.
In Aestel there are four individuals who have suffered the cursed fate. They are…
-Frisco-
A lowly thief who was unfortunate enough to slay a Hell Spy after assuming it was a passerby, and being in his nature, threatened to kill unless he gave up his loot. When the Hell Spy did not comply Frisco grew anxious and drew his father’s dagger to the demons throat, only accidentally murdering him.
Frisco was cursed with his manhood being replaced with a woman’s, and is therefore bent on murdering the Witch Queen in order to reverse this before anyone is to find out.
Still only a young man of twenty, Frisco lost both of his parents to the blades of Royal Knights when his mother was subject to a horny knights advances and his father stepped in to protect her. Since then Frisco has carried a grudge against King Ran and his unruly knights.
-Dennis-
The son of King Ran and heir to the throne, Dennis is known for venturing into the towns below his castle and socializing with the citizens.
In an act of honor he slew a Hell Spy when he caught sight of what he thought was a predator stalking a young woman. Unfortunately for him he was then cursed with a body covered in demonic markings, and a pair of unsightly horns protruding from his forehead. Not only does his appearance look that of a demon, but his urges for blood and bodies reflect that of demons. Given his new image, Dennis has been disowned by his own father, and therefore wishes to exterminate the Witch Queen.
-Caesar-
A true mercenary with little care for human life, Caesar has been taught to kill ever since he was young, and now as a man it’s second nature for him. Unfortunately it’s that same second nature that had him kill a Hell Spy disguised as a mortal who had been following him, and thus planting a curse upon him.
Caesar has been cursed with split manhood, instead of one he has obtained two. And because of this his appetite for women has diminished and his forbidden lust for men grew double.
He never looks at anything as a challenge, not even the Witch Queen, who will undoubtedly be his toughest fight. But Caesar knows that if he is to ever return to normal he’ll have to venture into the Dark and slay her.
-Elix-
The youngest of the cursed four, Elix was an apprentice Royal Wizard who conjured a powerful spell, and as it backfired destroyed a Hell Spy. His voice was then stolen as his curse, making him unable to cast magic that needs verbal incantation. Luckily his time spent in training has taught him plenty of spells to keep him safe, mute or not.
Elix is a shy boy, never really getting along with the other children in his classes. In fact he’d prefer to not be a Royal Wizard, if anything Elix would like to master as many healing and supporting spells to protect, not to destroy.
The four of them, the cursed four, will have to find each other and band together to have a chance at taking down the Witch Queen and reversing their plagues. But along the way they’ll encounter plenty of her demons, and discover plenty of their own.
